Today was our ‘Sip n See’ day.
The photographer in me was disappointed I didn’t take more photos, but the mom in me was happy I took the day to just relax.
What’s a Sip n See you ask? Well, because we are blessed with a large family & lots of friends, we decided to have a get together on one day instead of having daily visitors. Let’s face it, having people over every day would get tiring. But we didn’t want to spend the time planning (or money!) on some big celebration.
Our menu: 3 1/2 dozen bagels & 6 cream cheeses – a mix of flavors – from my favorite bagel shop, The Bagel Factory, in Troy, red & green grapes, & marble cheese cubes in bowls. For beverages, we supplied bottled water & the O.J. & champagne for Mimosas.
The gathering began at 11 a.m., so it was almost like a bagel brunch. We had people in & out all day to meet Levi & have a snack. I am so happy we did this! And by going with the bagel theme, it was inexpensive & so nice not to be the one cooking!
Here’s a couple photos of Kendall & Levi with Uncle Rodger & Aunt Jeanette — they are expecting their first child this November!!xoxo mama
